Taxonomy
Groenlandites glaber was named by Shevyrev (1995). Its type specimen is PIN 1477/588 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Mertvaya Balka, Stenopopanoceras beds, which is in an Aegean marine carbonate in the Malotkhach Formation of the Russian Federation.
