Alanites visendus

Taxonomy
Alanites visendus was named by Shevyrev (1968). Its type specimen is PIN 1477/296 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Tkhach River, left source, Laboceras-Megaphyllites beds, which is in a Bithynian marine carbonate in the Acheshbok Formation of the Russian Federation. It is the type species of Alanites.
