Taxonomy
Volnovakhipora insignis was named by Ogar (2010). It is not extant. Its type locality is Dokuchaievsk, central quarry, Volnovakha, which is in a Tournaisian shallow subtidal limestone in the Volnovakha Formation of Ukraine. It is the type species of Volnovakhipora.
