Dardanus squamatus
Taxonomy
Dardanus squamatus was named by Collins et al. (2009). Its type specimen is NMB F1467, a set of appendages, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is NMB Loc. 15907 - Río Gurabo [Cercado Fm], which is in a Tortonian marine siliciclastic in the Cercado Formation of the Dominican Republic.
