Taxonomy
Priscopedatus buno was named by Wernlund (1977). It is considered to be a form taxon. Its type specimen is holotype TTU-N09/32, paratypes TTU-N09/33-37 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Pine Springs area, Guadalupe Mountains, which is in a Capitanian basinal (carbonate) floatstone in the Bell Canyon Formation of Texas.

in a crude to well-developed tri-radiate alignment, may extend into the base of the spire, tend to increase insize away from spire; spire short, smooth, circular, large, with distal end marked with a pit indicating tubular nature, base slightly constricted at junction with
disk, positioned close to margin of basal disk, near notch if present.
