Keyserlingites pacificus

Taxonomy
Tirolites pacificus was named by Hyatt and Smith (1905). Its type specimen is Figs 14-15 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Union Wash, Parapopanoceras beds, Inyo Range, which is in a Spathian slope limestone in the Union Wash Formation of California.

It was recombined as Stephanites pacificus by Frech (1908); it was recombined as Durgaites pacificus by Spath (1934); it was recombined as Keyserlingites pacificus by Guex et al. (2010).
