Taxonomy
Orygoceras eburneolum was named by Stauffer (1937). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Cannon Falls, which is in a Cassinian carbonate limestone in the Shakopee Formation of Minnesota.

It was recombined as Endoceras eburneolum by Ulrich et al. (1944).
