Taxonomy
Amplexocarinia dentiformis was named by Yan and Chen (1982). Its type specimen is Nanjing Inst Geol Min Res HI-503 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Jitouling, Tongling County, which is in a Kungurian carbonate limestone in the Qixia Formation of China.
