Taxonomy
Dagyspirifer fascicostata was named by Hoover (1991). It is not extant. Its type locality is Flounder Cove, Kuiu Island, Keku Strait, USGS M1911, which is in a Norian shallow subtidal limestone in the Cornwallis Formation of Alaska. It is the type species of Dagyspirifer.
