Taxonomy
Fusispirifer cundlegoensis was named by Archbold and Thomas (1987). Its type specimen is UWA88147 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is UWA C35/9, Cundlego Crossing, Minilya River, which is in a Kungurian marine siliciclastic in the Cundlego Formation of Australia.
