Taxonomy
Bienotherium magnum was named by Chow (1962). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Hei Koa Peng, Lufeng (CUP, IVPP), which is in a Sinemurian terrestrial horizon in the Lufeng Formation of China.
