Taxonomy
Allocatillocrinus rarus was named by Arendt (2007). Its type specimen is PIN 1785/5810, a calyx, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Zakamenka, Boets Village, Kolva River, which is in an Artinskian marine horizon in the Boets Formation of the Russian Federation.
