Permasyrinx transversa
Taxonomy
Subansiria transversa was named by Armstrong (1970). Its type specimen is UQ F52878 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is UQ L3103, Rose's Pride Mine, which is in an Artinskian coastal sandstone/conglomerate in the Buffel Formation of Australia.
It was recombined as Permasyrinx transversa by Waterhouse (1987).
