Taxonomy
Pseudohalorites multidontus was named by Zhou (1985). Its type specimen is NIGP 70791 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Yejiquan, Zhonglupu, Xiangtan County, which is in a Kungurian marine mudstone in the Dangchong Formation of China.
