Taxonomy
Tongluceras lengwuense was named by Zhao and Zheng (1977). Its type specimen is NIGP 44605 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Jintanbu, Lengwu, Tonglu County, which is in a Roadian marine siliciclastic in the Dingjiashan Formation of China.
