Daidia cerithioides sewardensis was named by Frýda et al. (2001) [Daidia cerithioides Rohr 1988 p. 563 f. 4.22-4.23]. It is a 3D body fossil.

It was recombined as Daidia sewardensis by Wagner (2023).
