Taxonomy
Anasibirites archiperipheras was named by Bando (1964). Its type specimen is IGPS 45160 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Taho, Anasibirites Beds, Uonashi, Ehime Prefecture, which is in a Smithian marine siliciclastic in the Taho Formation of Japan.
