Anasibirites kingianus
Taxonomy
Sibirites kingianus was named by Waagen (1895). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Chidroo, high in Upper Ceratite Limestone, Salt Range, which is in a Smithian marine marl in the Upper Ceratite Limestone Formation of Pakistan.
It was recombined as Anasibirites kingianus by Spath (1934), Guo (1982), Brühwiler et al. (2012), Brühwiler and Bucher (2012), Brayard et al. (2013), Jattiot et al. (2016), Piazza (2017), Brayard et al. (2021) and Dai et al. (2023).
