Paraceratites orientalis

Taxonomy
Paraceratites orientalis was named by Yabe and Shimizu (1927) [Same as IGPS 35174]. Its type specimen is IGPS 60899 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Rifu, Tohoku Railway Line, Matsushima-cho, Miyagi-gun, which is in an Illyrian marine siliciclastic in the Rifu Formation of Japan.
