Bystrowiella schumanni
Taxonomy
Bystrowiella schumanni was named by Witzmann et al. (2008). Its type specimen is SMNS 91034, an osteoderm, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Vellberg-Eschenau, which is in a Longobardian estuary/bay claystone in the Erfurt Formation of Germany. It is the type species of Bystrowiella.
