Capillomesolobus permianus

Taxonomy
Mesolobus permianus was named by Cooper and Grant (1975). Its type specimen is USNM 152797, a shell (Articulated shell), and it is not a trace fossil. Its type locality is USNM703a, Old Word Ranch, Glass Mountains, which is in a Kungurian reef, buildup or bioherm limestone in the Road Canyon Formation of Texas.

It was recombined as Capillomesolobus permianus by Pečar (1986).
