Taxonomy
Amblysiphonella obichingouensis was named by Boiko (1991). Its type specimen is MIGD 115/2I, specimen 797/15 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Petra 1, Obikhingou River, Darvaz, which is in an Artinskian carbonate limestone in the Chelamchin Formation of Tajikistan.
