Dinnetherium nezorum
Taxonomy
Dinnetherium nezorum was named by Jenkins et al. (1983). Its type specimen is MNA V3221, a mandible (partial right mandible with m2-5), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Gold Spring Quarry 1 (MNA, MCZ, TMM 45609), which is in a Sinemurian/Pliensbachian floodplain claystone in the Kayenta Formation of Arizona. It is the type species of Dinnetherium.
