Taxonomy
Juvenites laevis was named by Tozer (1994). Its type specimen is GSC 28168 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is GSC 56166, Needham Creek, which is in a Smithian marine siliciclastic in the Toad Formation of Canada.
