Taxonomy
Koninckites dimidiatus was named by Tozer (1994). Its type specimen is GSC 28107 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is GSC 56225, North Gully (MNG), which is in a Dienerian marine siliciclastic in the Toad Formation of Canada.
