Taxonomy
Meekophiceras franklini was named by Tozer (1994). Its type specimen is GSC 28071 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is GSC 47551, Arthaber Creek, Axel Heiberg Island, which is in a Dienerian marine siliciclastic in the Blind Fiord Formation of Canada.
