Taxonomy
Dagnoceras haydeni was named by Smith (1932). Its type specimen is GSC 28123 and is a 3D body fossil.

It was recombined as Svalbardiceras haydeni by Spath (1934); it was recombined as Meekoceras haydeni by Tozer (1994).
