Taxonomy
Tyloplecta magna was named by Tong (1978). Its type specimen is Sb 4060 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Yangjiaoqi, Wulong County, which is in a Wordian carbonate limestone in the Maokou Formation of China.
