Taxonomy
Enteletes obscura was named by Jin and Ye (1979). Its type specimen is NIGP 42592 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Oulonggou Section VIII P32F11-14, Longwuhe, Jianza County, which is in a Wordian marine horizon in China.
