Taxonomy
Spiriferina vercherei was named by Waagen (1883). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Rotta Roh, yellow sandy marl, Upper Productus-limestone, Khisor Range, which is in a Changhsingian carbonate marl in the Chhidru Formation of Pakistan.
It was recombined as Spiriferellina vercherei by Clapham (2015).
