Taxonomy
Angustothyris concava was named by Jin et al. (1979). Its type specimen is NIGP 43140 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Zhihema XXII F2755, Tianjun County, which is in an Anisian marine horizon in the Junzihe Formation of China.
