Mesocimex lini

Taxonomy
Mesocimex lini was named by Wang et al. (2009). Its type specimen is NIGP 150276, an exoskeleton (Complete body), and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Daohugou (NIGP collection), which is in a Callovian/Oxfordian lacustrine - large shale in the Daohugou Formation of China.

It was recombined as Cicadocoris lini by Dong et al. (2013) and Dong et al. (2014); it was synonymized subjectively with Cicadocoris brunneus by Jiang et al. (2016).
