Taxonomy
Megousia crenulata was named by Briggs (1998). Its type specimen is AM F92693, a shell (Conjoined shell), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is UQ L5165, Montague Point, Jervis Bay, which is in a Roadian offshore siltstone in the Wandrawandian Formation of Australia.
