Benthamaspis conica

Benthamaspis conica was named by Fortey (1979) [Paratypes: cranidia, GSC 56874-5; pygidia, GSC 56876-7; librigena, GSC 56878.]. Its type specimen is GSC 56873, a cephalon/head (cranidium), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Catoche Formation type section, which is in a Cassinian open shallow subtidal limestone/dolomite in the Catoche Formation of Canada.
