Diagnosis
ReferenceDiagnosis
A. G. Sennikov and M. S. Arkhangelsky 2010"Plesiosaurs with body length about 7 m long. Vertebrae strictly amphicoelous. Humerus straight, very long, with slightly expanded epiphyses subcircular in cross section. Humerus and femur gracile. Proximal surfaces of humerus and femur flat, poorly developed (particularly in humerus), suggesting poorly ossifying head. Femur slightly curved, moderately elongated, with significantly widened epiphyses subovate in cross section, i.e., considerably differing in morphology from humerus."
