Macropyge gladiator

Trilobita - Asaphida - Ceratopygidae

Taxonomy
Macropyge gladiator was named by Ross (1951) [Paratypes: YPM 18131, 18169]. Its type specimen is YPM 18132, a pygidium (and thorax), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Locality 6, Hillyard's Canyon, Zone "G(2)a", which is in a Tulean shallow subtidal horizon in the Garden City Formation of Idaho.
