Permoberotha villosa

Taxonomy

Permoberotha villosa was named by Tillyard (1932). Its type specimen is YPM 5426, a forewing, and it is an impression. Its type locality is Elmo, YPM 1921 collection, which is in an Artinskian pond limestone in the Wellington Formation of Kansas. It is the type species of Permoberotha.

Synonyms

Dictyobiella nervosa was named by Tillyard (1937). Its type specimen is YPM 15592, an exoskeleton (complete body, both forewings, one hindwing), and it is an impression. Its type locality is Elmo, YPM 1921 collection, which is in an Artinskian pond limestone in the Wellington Formation of Kansas.

It was synonymized subjectively with Permoberotha villosa by Carpenter (1943) and Pérez-de la Fuente et al. (2022).
Permoberotha convergens was named by Tillyard (1937). Its type specimen is YPM 15595, a forewing, and it is an impression. Its type locality is Elmo, YPM 1921 collection, which is in an Artinskian pond limestone in the Wellington Formation of Kansas.

It was synonymized subjectively with Permoberotha villosa by Carpenter (1943) and Pérez-de la Fuente et al. (2022).
