Jurapolystoechotes melanolomus
Taxonomy
Jurapolystoechotes melanolomus was named by Ren et al. (2002). Its type specimen is NN99021, a hindwing (incomplete, well-preserved hind wing), and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Daohugou (CNU 1999 collection), which is in a Callovian/Oxfordian lacustrine - large shale in the Daohugou Formation of China. It is the type species of Jurapolystoechotes.
