Ambites atavus

Cephalopoda - Ceratitida - Gyronitidae

Taxonomy
Prionolobus atavus was named by Waagen (1895). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Virgal, Lower Ceratite Limestone, Salt Range, which is in a Dienerian marine limestone in the Lower Ceratite Limestone Formation of Pakistan.

It was recombined as Ambites atavus by Ware and Bucher (2018) and Ware and Bucher (2018).
