Taxonomy
Flemingites bhargavai was named by Brühwiler et al. (2010). Its type specimen is PIMUZ 27865, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is MUD32, Mud section, Spiti, which is in a Smithian offshore lime mudstone in the Mirkin Formation of India.
