Geothomasia valida

Taxonomy
Ingelarella valida was named by Campbell (1961). Its type specimen is UQ F21918, a valve (Ventral valve internal mold), and it is a mold. Its type locality is UQ L1627, Homevale Bed 10, Nebo Synclinorium, which is in an Artinskian marine siliciclastic in the Tiverton Formation of Australia.

It was recombined as Martiniopsis valida by Clarke (1971); it was recombined as Tomiopsis valida by Waterhouse (1987); it was recombined as Geothomasia valida by Waterhouse (1998).
