Taxonomy
Paraconularia caledonica was named by Campbell (1984). Its type specimen is AU5774 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Presqu'île Mara NC/f172, which is in a Changhsingian marine siltstone in the Mara Formation of New Caledonia.
