Megarachne servinei
Taxonomy
Megarachne servinei was named by Hünicken (1980). Its type specimen is CORD-PZ 2110, an exoskeleton, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Bajo de Veliz (CORD collection), which is in a Kasimovian/Gzhelian floodplain siltstone in the Bajo de Veliz Formation of Argentina. It is the type species of Megarachne.
