Litzicurus orbus

Taxonomy
Pseudohystricurus orbus was named by Ross (1953) [Paratypes: YPM 18780-3.]. Its type specimen is YPM 18779, a cephalon/head (cranidium), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Locality 6, Hillyard's Canyon, recollection of basal "G(1)" zone, which is in a Tulean shallow subtidal horizon in the Garden City Formation of Idaho.

It was recombined as Litzicurus orbus by Adrain et al. (2009).
