Taxonomy
Notospirifer minutus was named by Campbell (1960). Its type specimen is UQ F15823 and is a mold. Its type locality is UQ L1363, Rosella Creek, Havilah, which is in a Wuchiapingian marine siliciclastic in the Blenheim Formation of Australia.
