Polyonyx gomesi
Taxonomy
Polyonyx gomesi was named by Santos et al. (2009). It is considered to be a form taxon. Its type specimen is MNDPDSA, a footprint, and it is a trace fossil. Its type locality is Pedreira do Galinha tracksite, which is in a Bathonian shallow subtidal limestone/wackestone in the Serra de Aire Formation of Portugal.
