Akatchania artuxensis
Taxonomy
Akatchania artuxensis was named by Chen (2004). Its type specimen is IGPS109103, a shell (Conjoined shell), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Uzunbulak Section, Bed 16, Piqiang, Artux City, which is in an Artinskian perireef or subreef shale/siltstone in the Wutankule Formation of China.
