Ambikella ovata
Taxonomy
Ingelarella ovata was named by Campbell (1961). Its type specimen is UNE F3182 and is not a trace fossil. Its type locality is UQ L1630, Homevale Bed 13, Nebo Synclinorium, which is in an Artinskian marine siliciclastic in the Tiverton Formation of Australia. It is the type species of Homevalaria.
It was recombined as Martiniopsis ovata by Clarke (1971); it was recombined as Homevalaria ovata by Waterhouse (1986); it was recombined as Tomiopsis ovata by Waterhouse (1987); it was recombined as Ambikella ovata by Waterhouse and Shi (2010).
