Ambikella elongata
Taxonomy
Martiniopsis elongata was named by McClung and Armstrong (1975). Its type specimen is UNE 13017 and is a mold. Its type locality is UNE L1290, Sandy Water Holes, Cranky Corner, which is in a Sakmarian marine siliciclastic in the Beckers Formation of Australia.
It was recombined as Ingelarella elongata by McClung (1978); it was recombined as Tomiopsis elongata by Waterhouse et al. (1983), Clarke (1990) and Clarke (1992); it was recombined as Ambikella elongata by Waterhouse and Shi (2010).
