Pachymyonia morrisi

Taxonomy
Maeonia morrisii was named by Etheridge (1919). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Harper's Hill, near Allandale, West Maitland (Dun coll), which is in a Sakmarian coastal sandstone in the Allandale Formation of Australia. It is the type species of Pachymyonia.

It was recombined as Pachymyonia morrisii by Dun (1932); it was recombined as Myonia morrisi by Runnegar (1967); it was recombined as Myonia (Pachymyonia) morrisi by Clarke (1992); it was recombined as Pachymyonia morrisi by Clapham (2015).
